My Story

Hey there!

This is me.

I genuinely adore all breeds of critter and I am more likely to remember the pet’s name before their people’s. There must be a magnetic energy I give off to all strays and lost animals because they always seem to find me. I carry a leash and treat bag in my car, just for these special guys.

I live to be outside in nature, whether I’m hiking, discovering new places, scouting for amazing locations for my clients, or just simply walking my dog, I am content. In warm weather, you may just find me on my little black scooter (Black Betty) zipping through town with a big smile on my face. Or simply wandering around my backyard following the many dragonflies and butterflies in hopes they’ll let me hold them.

Since I was very young, I knew I wanted to work along side animals in some way. I attended school for veterinary technology but felt the creative route was really my true calling. I began volunteering at the Humane Society of Sandusky County when I fell in love with having a slobbering wet nose at the other end of my lens.

I like to put my energy into creating things. They could be simple like coloring in my favorite coloring books or complex like mastering a crazy photoshoot of nine-two month old Labrador puppies. I want make a difference with my life and I hope to impact the short lives of our beloved pets in one way or another.

I share my world with my fiancé Adam, four cats, and one overly fluffy pup. Keep reading below to learn more about them.

Things I love

I really dig self expression and the artistic ways we can show them. I have purple hair, piercings, tattoos and an obsession with collecting Rae Dunn pottery.

I really go all in when I’m doing something I love.

I live to be outside in nature and I appreciate all creatures except spiders. That’s a NOPE.

I really love to make people laugh and it brings me joy.

I own a miniature zoo with my fiance Adam. He is also my on location assistant during portrait sessions. He is the spare leash holder, slobber assistant, puppy runner, and the giver of treats.

My Pets

Atlas

Cuddler, kissing machine, and his tongue is too long for his mouth so you’ll usually see the tip sticking out. This just makes him 60% more adorable. He has shaped into a wonderful dog model and like me, will do almost anything for cookies!

Siren

Siren

Once feral but now a sweet purrbox. Her white mustache makes her unique as she is the only female proud of their mustache. She’s tiny but mighty and guards her house from any curious outsiders.

Onyx

Onyx

He’s my chunky boy. He is the ultimate seat warmer and a big cuddler. He is very vocal and easily entertained with his reflection.

Asia

Asia

She’s the house princess, extremely smart and she takes no prisoners. If she wants it, she gets it.

Cairo

Cairo

He’s my heartcat (yeah that’s a thing too). Cairo is my first pet I’ve cared for living on my own. He has changed my life in so many positive ways.

I would love to meet the wet nose that has stolen your heart.

Please feel free to browse through my portfolio.
